It’s another beautiful day in the mountains. The sun has started to hit the office again after a month of hiding somewhere behind Sentry Mt. Some people travel up north to experience no sunlight for extended periods of time, we on the other hand…well we just stay at home. It’s ok, since there has been a dwindling down from hundreds of volunteers and screaming campers to now 4 staff. It is kind of nice to have a change of pace. There is less need to supervise, patch-up, or attempt to bring any order to an endless gong show now that the campers are gone. Well…that’s not to say our quirky office staff don’t provide for a symphony on gongs occasionally in the off season.

The office staff want to welcome Stephanie Brouwer to the staff team as our Registrar. She started working mid-December and seems to fit in quite well. We are very pleased to have her serve here at camp.

Sr. Reunion will happen March 3-5. This weekend retreat/camp is open for all campers that came to a senior aged (14-17) camp in the summer of 2016. We are looking forward to this weekend, and encourage you to sign up! We are also looking for a few positions to be filled such as the nurse and worship coordinator. Kory Podrasky and Clay Geddert will be program directing, and we are excited for their enthusiasm that they bring.

We are currently looking for a new Director of Camping. To get a full description of the job and more information, visit our website http://www.crowcamp.ca/about/employment-opportunities. The deadline is soon, so make sure that the person you are thinking of gets their application in on time. Also, we will have a job post coming out soon for the Kitchen Administrator and part time Volunteer Coordinator. Stay tuned for more information on that!

Thanks for continuing to be a part of God’s work here at camp, and please keep the following points in your prayers:

  1. Wisdom and discernment for hiring a director and other staff.
  2. Gods continual provision for camp in staffing and monetary needs.
  3. The summer of 2017 and all the people that will be involved.

Thank you for your support.
