Ginny's Blog - God is so Faithful!!

All last week I was a little stressed/nervous about where we were going to get enough counsellors for this camp. I was praying everyday but I do not think that I was really thinking that God could pull it off. I really should learn that God can do anything and on short notice. By Sunday we were only short one counsellor for our Crow 2 site and we really only had one option to fill that position, one of our female outtrip directors. In putting her out there it would mean that we were short an outtrip director at the main site. We had a couple possibilities to fill that position but we were not really sure how possible they actually were. Monday (the day the campers arrive) we got a call from one of the guys that we had contacted about coming to lead an outtrip saying that he could do one. It is just so amazing to me to see how faithful God is in providing all of our needs. Even though we were focusing a little more on Intermediate 2 this last week we have also been praying for the Junior 2 program that is starting on July 30th. We needed 6 female counsellors and 6 male counsellors but today we have filled all of the female counselling positions and we only need 3 more male counsellors. It is just amazing how God works!
Please be praying this week for 3 more male counsellors for Junior 2 (July 30th-August 5th), for sickness to stop spreading here at camp (some counsellors are beginning to get sick), rest and energy for the counsellors, and for the program director (Meghan and Sara) as they lead all of us here for the rest of this week.
