ACCIDENT ON THE MOUNTAIN!

It happened quite innocently. In a kindly gesture from her brother Chase, Maddison exchanged bikes with him so he could pull the little children around in the bike trailer as he could see Maddison was tired. What she didnt know was just how touchy his brakes were. Even though she was on a flat gravel road, I repeat she was NOT doing anything risky, in an instant she was flying over the handle bars and skidding on the gravel. yes, those brakes certainly do stop on a dime (unlike her bike where you have to squeeze the dickens out of them). Sources say the injuries proved more serious than first thought. Maddison now sports a cast on her wrist and other scrapes and bruises. She has chosen joy in all circumstances and to not allow self-pity to rule (after a good cry, that is). She is determined to counsel at Jr. camp and continue to teach archery. We will see how this shall affect her aim; it certainly has not affected her spirit. Way ta go Maddi for taking the first (and hopefully last) hospital trip from the Mountian.
