CrowBAR - Upcoming workdays

Crowbar VIII
Reminder of the upcoming workdays- we need volunteer help
May 29, June 5, June 19
What do we need to do?
McGillvary got a new kitchen trailer last year but we need to tear apart the old one and prepare for a new bridge.
Lots of work is on-going with ducting and getting ready to pour the floor (Rebar etc). Most of the work does not require specific skills, but is "hugely" helpful to have done. You do not need to worry about not having something to do!
The log posts for around the outside of the new lodge (to support the roof over the deck) have arrived (Check out the pictures on the website). The front posts are ready to go up but we need framers.
We need to build a new access trail to the north side of the building from the west – to keep construction traffic and future delivery traffic away from camper areas. The trail will need signage and a new gate. Do you know how to use a shovel? Do you have a big loader or grader?
The new lodge displaced the campfire circle so we need to construct a new one in the vicinity of the old cabins 15 and 16 – one of which needs to be relocated for to near the PIT Cabin for PIT summer accommodation and one moved out front to be refurbished.
There is almost more to do than seems possible unless we have all pitch in.
All of these projects are on-going and we can use volunteers to help with them. If you have interest in helping, contact the camp office and arrangements can be made for your own, "personal workday."

Colossians 3:23,24 (The Message)
. . . .don't just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you'll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you're serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn't cover up bad work.
