Registration Policies

Campers are accepted on a first come basis. Registration forms are considered according to the envelope’s postmark date or the timestamp appearing on a faxed or online form. Priority post, faxing and emailing gain no advantage. If you use the online or fax route, you must send in the signed waiver form with enclosed deposit within 14 days.

We reserve 10% of camper openings for first time applicants.

Due to the long waiting lists, we give preference to campers who are able to attend the entire session.

All applicants will receive a letter or email indicating that they are either registered or on the waiting list. The specific camp that the participant is registered in will be included in the letter along with an equipment (what to bring) list. You should receive this letter by April 15th. If you do not receive a letter by this date please contact camp. Do not just show up for camp, as there is no guarantee of getting in.

Cabin Requests: Campers may request one cabin mate. Although efforts will be made to accommodate requests, we do not guarantee this will always be possible. Requests may be made on the application form or by contacting camp before June 15th. Cabin changes will not be considered on registration day.

Registration Deposit: Please enclose a $50.00 deposit for each camper. This is required to reserve a spot for the participant. We will accept post-dated cheques but please do not post-date them later than June 15. There will be a $10.00 charge on all NSF cheques. The deposit or a portion thereof may be spent at the tuck shop. We do not sell food items. We carry items necessary for out trips such as rain ponchos, spoons or water bottles. We also carry reasonably priced camp T-shirts and other items of clothing. Any funds left over from the registration deposit will be returned to you by cheque early in the fall or if you desire, you may donate these funds. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form. If you are not able to afford the deposit, send in your child's registration form anyway, explaining your situation & we will make other arrangements with you. We will return registration deposits uncashed to everyone on the waiting list.
