Join Us for a Day of Festivities at Crow!
We've been at work, and now we're ready to celebrate! The insides of the Cozy Nest Cabins are fully renovated (and really, it's what's inside that counts) and they are ready for occupancy. This special occasion calls for a day filled with gratitude, joy, and community spirit. Here's how we're marking this milestone and how you can be part of the celebration:
What's Happening?
On June 1st, starting at 3:30 PM, we invite you to join us for a Camp & Motel Tour to explore the newly renovated spaces. Get a firsthand look at the improvements we've made and envision the memorable experiences that await our volunteer staff and guests. RSVP HERE.
Following the tour, classic camp activities! Test your mettle on the climbing wall; settle Catan or play other board games; gather around the campfire for stories and songs; or roast pleasantly in our rejuvenating sauna. There's something for every camp fan to enjoy!
We will finish with an "Appreciation Meal": delicious food (probably spaghetti, roast beef, or tacos), lively entertainment, and, yes, probably some lengthy speeches to guide our reflection and gratitude.
Why Are We Celebrating?
The completion of the interior renovations of our Cozy Nest Cabins is the culmination of years of planning, hard work, and dedication from our volunteers, donors, and labourers. This project not only provides much-needed space for our community but also is a source of pride knowing that we've created a welcoming environment for all who come to Crow Camp.
The Mission Behind the Renovation
At Crow Camp, our mission of discipleship and evangelism is at the heart of everything we do. The Cozy Nest Cabins serve as a hub for our summer volunteers, housing the diverse array of individuals who contribute to the magic of our camp community. From speakers and program directors to nurses and cooks, these cabins are essential in supporting our mission-driven programs.
During the winter months, the Motel will continue to provide comfortable accommodations for volunteers and guests, while also generating funds through rentals. These funds directly support Crow's mission, allowing us to continue our core work in discipleship and evangelism.
When and Where?
The celebration kicks off on Saturday, June 1st, at 3:30 PM, and we'll wrap up the festivities with a celebratory and ceremonial "doing of the dishes" around 7:30 PM. Join us at Crow Camp for a day filled with laughter, memories, and a renewed sense of purpose. RSVP HERE
Limited Cabin Space Available
For out-of-town guests looking to join in the celebration, limited cabin space may be available by special request for the nights of May 31st and June 1st. Contact us (at least one week in advance) to reserve a spot if you have a need.
